Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 October 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of JobKaart, a job, quote, and invoice management application for South African tradespeople, operated from jobkaart.co.za ("JobKaart", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using JobKaart, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
JobKaart provides tools to manage customers, quotes, jobs, and invoices. We may add, change, or remove features over time, and we'll try to give notice of any changes that materially affect how you use the service.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account, including activity by team members you invite.
You must be legally able to enter into a binding contract to use JobKaart on behalf of a business.
3. Plans & Payment
JobKaart offers a free plan with limited usage, and paid subscription plans (Starter, Pro) billed monthly. Pricing is displayed on jobkaart.co.za and may change with notice.
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance and processed via PayFast. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. You can cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for full details.
If a payment fails, we may suspend access to paid features until payment is resolved.
4. Your Data
You own the customer, quote, job, and invoice data you enter into JobKaart. We store and process it solely to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You're responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for having the right to store your customers' information in JobKaart.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use JobKaart for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the service's operation
- Reverse engineer or resell the service without our permission
6. Availability
We aim to keep JobKaart available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, and features may occasionally be unavailable.
7. Limitation of Liability
JobKaart is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including lost revenue or lost data. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under South African law.
8. Termination
You may stop using JobKaart and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the service or other users.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of JobKaart after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
